Getting to Hinton Hideaways


Hinton Hideaways is located on Fordscroft Farm, accessible by car from the A30 and A303 and by train on the Exeter St Davids – Waterloo line


There are direct trains to Crewkerne station from London Waterloo, Salisbury and Exeter. The station is only a 10 minute taxi ride away. Taxis from the station must be booked in advance.

From the A303 take the exit for Crewkerne and then join the A30 towards Chard.

From the A30 take the turning signposted Hinton St George. Drive slowly down Lidden hill and the turning for Fords Croft Farm is the first right hand turn. Just before the bridge through the woodland turn left to follow the track along the woodland signposted to Hinton Hideaways and the Shepherds Hut Retreat.


Please do not drive into the farmyard. This is a working farm so take care as you might meet a tractor on the drive.
